Fuschl. 1942.
Egg tempera and oil on canvas, originally laid on panel.
Presumably Von Abercron D-42-13. Bottom left mongrammed, dated and titled and with a dedication. 35.5 x 52 cm (13.9 x 20.4 in).

PROVENANCE: Anneliese von Ribbentrop (as gift from the artist in 1942, with the dedication on the reverse).
Confiscated by U.S. Allied Commission for Austria (June 1945)(USACA) Section, Kitzbühel.
Salzburg Art Depot, owned by the Austrian state (with the stamp of the 'Bundesdenkmalamt Salzburg' on the reverse, July 6, 1945-1950).
Anneliese von Ribbentrop (returned from the above in 1950).
Private collection Southern Germany (with the label on the reverse).

In good condition. Minimally yellowed. Margins rubbed and discolroed from framing, with isolated color loss. Upper part slightly soiled. The condition report was compiled in daylight with the help of an ultraviolet lamp and to the best of knowledge. [CE]
