Arbeiterpaar. Wohl um 1915.
Charcoal drawing.
Bottom right with the partly faded stamped signature (Lugt 2676 b). On thin brownish wove paper. 20.6 x 18 cm (8.1 x 7 in), the full sheet. [CH].

• Owing to his excellent power of observation and knowledge of human nature, Zille renders scenes from his milieu with just a few accomplished lines

Dynamic figure sketch in good condition. Sheet all in all slightly creased. Tiny isolated splits in edges. Estate stamp partly faded.
