Zweite Ausgabe (zuerst 1591), hier erstmals mit dem Beiband von Bontius. "First important work on the history of Egyptian medicine" (Garrison/Morton). Das zweite Werk von Jacob de Bondt (1599-1631) ist die erste bedeutende Abhandlung über die Krankheiten Ostindiens.
